Hat Pin Very Old Ivory Colored with Crystal Roundel Stones Between Sections Still Sharp

This is an unusual piece. This came in a large box of jewelry from an estate sale. It is still very sharp - poked myself enough times that I know for sure! The pin is 6 inches long. The head of this hat pin is about 1 3/4 inches. I am not sure what the material is but the color is an ivory color. Separating the 2 sections is a small roundel bead with cut crystal beads in it. I am guessing this is from around the 40s since that is about the time hat pins were used - if not before that.
