I love it when I find these unusual as well as pretty pieces of vintage jewelry. This was obviously a very good piece of jewelry in it day. It is made so well and is so sturdy, no wonder it has lasted over 50 years. The bale is made as part of he pendant. The pendant is teardrop shape. It has a large teardrop shaped silver piece in the center. The top part is basket weave silver - very nice. The bottom portion is beautifully faceted and set smoky quarts stones - and all are intact. I am sure the rope chain is original. It is 17 inches long and has a 2 inch extension. I don't think you could find one like this anywhere today. Don't miss out on this one!
